Our Clubs
We are delighted to inform you about the exciting clubs we offer at Happy Chalet. These clubs are designed to provide enriching experiences and further enhance your child’s learning journey. Here is a brief overview of the clubs available:
Dance and Drama Club: In this club, children will explore the world of movement, rhythm, and self-expression through dance and drama activities. They will have the opportunity to develop their coordination, creativity, and confidence as they engage in fun-filled performances and storytelling.
Story Club: Our Story Club aims to foster a love for reading and storytelling. Children will embark on imaginative adventures while listening to captivating stories and participating in interactive discussions. This club nurtures their language skills, imagination, and comprehension abilities.
French Club: Our French Club introduces children to France’s beautiful language and culture. They will learn basic French vocabulary, greetings, and simple phrases through games, songs, and interactive activities, promoting their linguistic and cultural awareness.
Phonics & Numeracy Club: This club focuses on developing essential literacy and numeracy skills. Children will engage in activities that enhance their phonics knowledge, letter recognition, early reading, and numeracy concepts. They will build a strong foundation for future learning through interactive games and exercises.
4+ Preparing Club: Designed for children approaching school age, the 4+ Preparing Club aims to support their transition to primary school. Through various activities, children will develop their independence, social skills, and readiness for formal education, ensuring a smooth and confident start to their academic journey.
11+ Summer Holiday Workshop/Classes
Help your child be prepared for the 11 exams. Classes are tailored to your child and cover most examination boards: CEM, GL, ISEB and more, English, maths, VR,NVR
11+ English Club: Our 11+ English Club is tailored to children preparing for entrance exams. They will engage in focused English language activities, including comprehension exercises, creative writing tasks, and vocabulary development, to strengthen their skills and boost their confidence for the 11+ examination.
Biology, Physics, and Chemistry Club: This club introduces children to the fascinating world of science. Through hands-on experiments, investigations, and interactive sessions, they will explore key concepts in biology, physics, and chemistry, fostering their curiosity and scientific thinking.
These clubs are designed to offer your child additional opportunities for learning, growth, and enjoyment beyond the regular nursery curriculum. We believe that participating in these clubs will enhance their skills, expand their interests, and promote a love for lifelong learning.
